Lee's engraving notes: "Sold by authority of the Lee Memorial Association for the erection of a monument at the tomb of General Robert E. Lee at the Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia"
Entered according to act of Congress in the year 1870 by Bradley & Co. in the office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington.
Jackson's engraving notes: "Sold by authority of the Jackson Memorial Association for the purpose of erecting a monument to the memory of Thomas J. Jackson at the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, Virginia"
Entered according to the act of Congress in the year 1871 by Bradley & Co. in the office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington.
Both engravings in lovely shape, framed identically (small rub marks on frames where they must have been stacked/laying on one another at some point)(see pictures).
