Vintage WWII US Army Services Forces Cloth Ribbon Sweetheart Pin. 1¼". No damage.
Sweetheart jewelry and Victory pins were worn by sweethearts, moms, sisters, and females that had loved ones serving in the military during World War I and II. Blue star pins were worn by mothers. Each blue star represented the number of children serving in the war. Gold star pins were worn by mothers; for each son that died in the war. Efficiency pins were given out during the war to employees that worked on making the equipment and supplies needed during the war. Sweetheart jewelry was very popular during the wars and still is today to collectors.
I have other buttons and pins. Take them all for $50.
