If you and your cycling partner are like my husband and me (he's tall and I'm short), finding a tandem that fits the two of you can be a challenge. THIS IS YOUR BIKE! The front is a "jumbo", for those over 6 ft tall. The back is a medium. It adjusts quite a bit. I'm 5'1", but it should work for people up to 5'8".
BONUS: Yakima Sidewinder tandem rack for round or square bar roof racks. Lets one person easily load the tandem. $500 value. Buy it with this bike for just $200.
This bike has a proud history!
Filmmaker Victor Henderson is a past World T.E.A.M. Sports participant. In June 2014, he rode this tandem bicycle with blind Army veteran Steve Baskis from Ottawa, Ontario to Washington, D.C. as a member of the CanAm Veterans’ Challenge. (Videos at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLoj98_8FNsLA-9aKJefPqXPR2GLdB5aA ). The bike was loaned by Mt. Airy Bikes (bike123.com) for the ride.
Afterwards, it was restored to factory specs and purchased by my husband and me.
