Posting for my Dad-16' Cedar Strip Canoe hand made by my Dad circa 1975. Pictured with a few of his trophies from racing this canoe, both downriver whitewater and slalom. All cedar strip with oak gunwales. Layer of fiberglass inside and out. Kevlar skids on the bottom ends. Built in flotation in the ends. 33" wide and about 75 lbs. Center thwart with padded shoulder carry shape. Canoe is fast, agile, and stable. Had a few dents and bruises over the years as it was well used. All have been kept repaired and canoe is in sound, watertight condition. It is getting too hard for him to carry it to the water by himself, so he wants to send it on to someone who will use and appreciate a fine piece of work!
