Have a Nice Chris Craft Scorpion boat. Its a 19ft boat that seats 9 people. Looks and runs great. Very fast. Has a 305 Chevrolet Small Block V8. Parts for it are easily available and affordable. Plus small block chevys are super reliable and will last a lifetime in a boat like this. Chris craft is a top of the line when it comes to boats. Has a Merc Crusier outboard that runs great with a brand new $600 stainless steel propeller on it. Also put in a brand new water pump and all 5 of the bellow tubes between the motor and outboard. They are flexable tubes for the exhaust, shifter cables, etc. Boat is on a Nice EZ Loader Galvanized Trailer with brand new tires on it. Trailer pulls very nice down the road and pulls straight and true. The floor in the boat has all been redone with expensive marine grade plywood, covered in fiberglass resin to seal it up even more. New carpet in entire boat. The 305 engine has new spark plugs and wires. Brand new starter on it. The motor mounts werent the best from the factory and typically crack with time. We had them pulled out and filled the entire pockets solid with fiberglass and resin before reinstalling the motor mounts. Will never have any issue with them ever again. Boat comes with lots of extras as well. Nice very long rope and anchor, Life jackets, lights, whistle, fire extinguisher and many others. Has nice seats and storage compartment under the main floor and under the front seats. The only issue it it could use a new Gimble bearing. Its the bearing between the engine and outboard. Boat runs and drives good but the bearing makes a slight whining noise. I have the bearing that will go with it. You have to pull part of the outboard off to install it. Not to bad of a job with many videos on youtube. I can put it on when i get time but am very busy. If i put it in i will be raising the price to $9500. These Chris Craft boats in this shape for for 10K all day. Figured id sell it for $7000 and let who buys it put it in and save some money. The only other issue with the boat is a couple pieces in the interior. the side padding on the passenger side is loose at the one end and need to be reattached along with the passenger lower seat pad. Other then that the interior is in great shape. Boat is in excellent shape and the entire bow and underside is free of dings, chips, scratches , holes or any imperfections. Be hard to find one cleaner then this. Lots of parts, money and time inversted. Trying to put a down payment on a new house so some of the toys got to go. Serious calls ony. $7000 as is or $9500 if i throw the bearing in, which im not against but just have to find the time. Clean Title ready to go for both the Boat and Trailer. Have all the original paperwork and manuals that came with the boat when it was bought new. Serious calls only. show contact info
