Traffic Division Manager (MOT) (Frederick)

CHS Traffic Control Services, Inc. is looking for an experienced Maryland DOT Traffic Manager to assist with the management of approximately 20 employees. Candidate should have experience in maintenance of traffic activities.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Maryland Traffic Manager and Virginia Intermediate/TCS
- Experience with MUTCD, MDSHA, and VDOT requirements and set-ups
- Experience of concrete barrier wall and/or attenuator set-up
- Experience with installation & removal of temporary traffic control signs on wooden posts
- Ability to perform takeoffs and bid proposals
- Ability to work independently and determine solutions with limited guidance
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities in a calm and efficient manor
- Ability to manage work flow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle scheduling issues as they arise
- Excellent customer service skills
- Possess or agree to become a ATSSA Flagger Instructor

Responsibilities to include:
- Assist work crews to ensure their timely departure and arrival to jobsite
- Perform on-site job inspections to ensure proper set-up and safety compliance
- Review daily work zone reports for completeness and accuracy
- Investigate safety/accident incidents
- Availability to handle scheduling issues by phone outside of regular work hours

Candidate must have valid state issued driver's license with less than 2 points
Provide copy of driving record from MVA dated within the last 2 weeks
DOT physical/medical card required
