I’m looking for someone experienced in vintage/antique resale to help me work through a large, curated inventory of collectibles and art.
I have a significant volume of inventory (art, china, art glass, pottery, collectibles, small antiques, etc.) that was originally sourced for resale. It’s been sitting longer than I’d like, and I’m looking for the right person to help turn it into a structured resale operation.
What I’m looking for:
- Someone who already understands resale (eBay, Etsy, antique markets, etc.)
- Strong instincts for what’s worth listing individually vs. batching vs. moving quickly
- Comfortable researching, pricing, and shipping fragile/valuable items
- Self-directed — I don’t want to micromanage this
What the role would involve:
- Sorting and triaging inventory (what to sell, where, and how)
- Listing items (eBay/Etsy or other platforms you prefer)
- Tracking listed inventory and sales
- Managing packing and shipping
Compensation:
- Hourly rate ($20) for first 3 weeks (max 15 hours) for set up
- 40% commission on gross profits (after expenses)
Logistics:
- Inventory is located in my basement in Lovettsville VA and stays on my property to start
- Flexible schedule — this can be part-time / side work
- Ideal for someone already reselling who wants access to inventory without sourcing
If this sounds interesting, send me:
- A little about your experience
- What platforms you sell on
- Any examples of items you’ve sold; your store link
Looking for someone who knows this space and wants to make money doing it.
