This Podous Boot Cost about $300 New, when ordered through the doctors office.
Helps treat and prevent lower extremity disorders associated with immobility or trauma.
This was to keep pressure off the heel (to avoid sores) while person was in a bed or recliner resting, or watching TV.
It keeps the heel of your foot from resting on itself, therefore avoiding sores, blisters.
The Podous Boot is Lightweight and easy to put on. It has a Thick, Comfortable Poly/pile Fleece Liner.
The Boot and Liner can be hand washed. The ProCare Instruction Booklet is included. The Podous Boot
is not intended for walking, other than very short distances.
This is a "Like New" barely used item. The doctor tried the boot on my Dad during his office visit.
Dad promised his doc he'd use it at home. Once home, I think I got it on him once, maybe twice. Long story short, minus the
drama of weeks of pleading with him, Dad said "I'm not wearing that thing". It's very clean, and he never walked on the
floor with it. It's been sitting around here for a few years in its plastic bag, but the bag wasn't sealed so the white around the edges
of the straps may have gotten a little dusty. The fabric is easily detachable from the plastic boot, and can be hand washed.
