This gorgeous sparkly Art Deco ring features a large natural 5 mm Old European cut diamond which is over 0.75 carat. It is SI1 in clarity and G in color. There is a tiny chip on the side of the diamond that is noticeable upon close inspection / magnification. The chip is not obvious to the casual observer because of the sparkle and cut of the diamond. There is a 4-point mount. On each side of the main diamond, there is a 5mm long ornate ribbed rectangular box inlayed with three small round diamonds (six small diamonds total).
The 2 mm band is size 6.75 and was confirmed to be platinum (900 PT) by a GIA jewelry appraiser. There is an illegible mark on band. Upon magnification, one can see tiny scratches from wear.
This Art Deco beauty from the 1920's would be cherished as a breathtaking engagement ring or it would be an incredible, classy gift to yourself!
