I can play anything if I just believe in myself, my mom told me so.

I'm most naturally a drummer, but I play bass in a band currently, and have done every other instrument at some point in my life. I'm looking to get into some interesting music. And no, Frederick county, I don't consider "covers... but only obscure ones" interesting. Frederick area is known for covers, acoustic folk, and covers. even some covers of acoustic folk covers, if you want to make things a lil spicy. I don't like that. that is boring.
That said, I have a pretty wide palette. my main squeeze is metal and harsh EBM of various kinds (industrial, death, gothic to name a few) but I used to lead a church band, have done jazz, symphonic rock, acoustic, electronic, and even played music for kids at one point, so if I can hold my own against 3-year-olds, I'm pretty sure I can handle adults.
I want to play music with a group again. Covers and endless invariable acoustic folk aren't music. Otherwise, I'm open to playing most things as long as you care about your music and you can take the listener somewhere else with your music. preferably something dark and aggressive, but I'm open to anything as long as it's powerful.
