Is your idea of the perfect job one that offers a sense of fulfillment through social consciousness, ecological satisfaction, and one with exciting opportunities and never a dull moment? We're seeking an open-minded, cooperative and professional individual who is an enthusiastic, self-motivated and multi-talented person to assist with many facets of our small certified organic and fair trade-focused handcrafting company. This job requires that an individual be personable, extroverted, positive and an articulate communicator. Is this you?

During the course of a day our tasks may include: retail and wholesale customer service and communication via face-to-face, email and telephone; labeling, packing, shipping and tracking organic products; sourcing and ordering organic raw materials, packaging components and fair trade artisan goods; checking in shipments, pricing goods and creating and maintaining interesting retail store displays; day-to-day bookkeeping, organizing, monitoring inventory; identifying and developing new business avenues, creating unique marketing plans, expanding social media reach, web site enhancement and maintenance, creating editorial, video and photo content for social media, and the company web site and newsletter; new personal care product research and development and project management; etc.

Where do you see yourself fitting in to the day to day operations outlined above? We're envisioning part-time to start, with potential for full-time advancement.

If you can see yourself fitting into the operation above, the first important step in our application process is for you to send us a detailed cover letter that outlines who you are, where you've been and why you think you'd fit in with our unique team. Naturally, we expect that you will also submit your current chronological resume with education and experience. Please feel free to also send us any examples of your creative works--essays, articles, photos, videos, or images of your handmade craft projects, etc. Note that applications must include a detailed cover letter in order to be considered. Hope to hear from you soon!
