Removed from a street rod/hot rod and put in a 1930 Ford coupe (roller)
I decided to go with a more highway geared rear, so it was removed from the 1930 coupe, which is the reason why I am selling it.
Since the rear came of a vehicle that was a it was a roller , I never drove it, (since the vehicle had no engine or transmission), it was just installed in the frame. I was told it was a good rear and I'm selling it as is. Feel free to inspect it yourself.
We needed the brackets on the axle housing for my other rear axle so the housing is damaged, (see picture) (its where the grey duct tape is) but the axles and rest of the rear is fine, you'll have to go with another housing for the axles.
The length from backing plate to backing plate is (about) 54 inches and if you measure to the end of the brake drum you can add another 8 inches in length which would be (about) 62 inches
The rear axle is in the Gaithersburg /Damascus/ Laytonsville area....I may be able to meet you some where nearby for serious buyers
I was told that it's worth somewhere around $500 - $600.....
