1980 & 1981 Honda Prelude Long Block Engines - $500 (Hagerstown)

1980 Engine: Came from a car I bought off a junk yard, had been junked due to severe body rust. Was originally set up for an automatic transmission, no flex plate, no timing belt items, engine was drained of oil and cylinders were oiled when put into storage. Shown in first two pictures.
1981 Engine: Came from a car I bought privately in central Penna. They stopped driving it due to a bad camshaft lobe. Engine is complete minus the camshaft. It is set up for a manual tranny and still has the flywheel and clutch. Engine was drained of oil and cylinders oiled for storage. Shown in third picture.
The 1979 Honda could use either of these engines but would require a change in head. Honda used a head with 2 exhaust ports (instead of 4) in 1979 only. The block portion of the 2 engines would work in a 1979 application. Either engine would work in a 1982 Honda.
These engines are used, long blocks, sold for parts or rebuild. Mileage was over 100,000 on each. No warranty expressed or implied. Sold AS IS.
