My roommate is moving out at the end of February and I am looking for a new replacement for March 1st, 2020. The apartment is fantastic: Located on 89th and 3rd it has 1000+ sq feet that was gut renovated about 4 years ago. It features all-new hardwood flooring, a dishwasher, video intercom, and a fun, friendly, clean roommate (me!).

To note, this unit is a railroad apt which means the rooms are connected, however, I have my own entrance that I use through the hallway. The bedroom is cozy, holds a full or queen mattress, and has a closet right outside the door. The living room and kitchen are already furnished and decorated so everything in those pictures will stay. Asking for $400 + utilities (internet/electric/gas).
**Note, I am posting pics of the room both empty and how it is now. Sorry for my roommate's mess**
The apartment is 1 flight up and is in the prime area of the 80s in UES. Only 3 blocks and 1 avenue to the 4/5/6 or Q trains. Crosstown buses at 86th and 96th. Whole Foods is 1 block, Fairway 3 blocks, Central Park and Carl Shurz Parks both 4 avenues away. Lots of restaurants and bars on 2nd ave. There is drop-off laundry attached to the building or self-serve laundromats within a couple of blocks. All in all, a wonderful neighborhood with tons going on.
Who am I? My name is Sarah and I am in my late 20s, work downtown in technology (9am-6pm) and have a fairly active social life after work. I am pretty laid back, love to cook and share food, keep things clean, and am looking for similar in a roommate.
When you inquire, please tell me a bit more about yourself, lifestyle, work schedule, etc. I am open-minded to roommates in their 20s and 30s who are friendly and keep clean, but I cannot have any pets, crazy party people, or smokers or drugs. (Sorry not sorry!)
