Position Summary: Assemble switches and other components with assembly drawings through utilizing various equipment with some supervision.

Knowledge, Skills, Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ability to assemble AMC products when supplied parts lists and drawings.
-Must be able to assemble a multi-throw switch under minimal supervision.
-Demonstrate the ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
-Possess thorough knowledge of all workstation tools: soldering irons, hot plates, scopes, hand tools, and ESD equipment.
-Handle tiny parts that you have to view under a microscope. You will have to solder them to a tiny board. It is very precise.
-Demonstrate developed skills of bond inspection and welding.
-Ability to follow all departmental and company procedures.
-Ability to establish priorities and proceed with objectives under minimal supervision.
-Social skills and responsibility to work independently and in small groups.
-Aptitude to resolve recurring problems through proper channels i.e. Engineering Change Requests (ECR) in addition to training junior assemblers and peers.
-Maintain a clean and presentable work area.
-Performs other related duties as required by management.
Credentials and Experience:
-One to three years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-ESD training certification & training record showcasing required skill sets.
-Adherence to Lean Manufacturing guidelines as required.
-Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Production Manager.
-Physically able to stay in the same position for long periods of time.
-Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
-Communicate with other Assembly operators and staff members of neighboring departments.
-High Quality output and acknowledgment of production goals/ volume requirements.
-Developed General RF and electronics assembly skill set.
