Epoxy Garage Floor Paint
For sale is qty 4-Rust-Oleum clear top coat kits, could also be used as just a clear coat over concrete. These are fresh kits received from Rust Oleum last October.
I also have qty 2-Solvent base Rust-Oleum 2 car garage floor paint kits. The 2-“Solvent” kits are commercial type kits and stronger than the water base paint. Each box has qty 2-1 gallon cans for a total of 4 gallons, 1 base coat and 1 hardener cans. I did a 3-car garage 2 coats with a half-gallon to spare. This lasted 23 years of working on my cars. I was going to re-coat the floor but a neighbor convinced me to go with Race Deck instead. The only issue with these is they are past there “use by date” per Rust Oleum. They indicated I could mix a small amount together, paint it on and see if it sets up.
And I have 3 more clear kits past there “use by date” Had 4 but I mixed 1 kit and pored it into a can. Well, it set up fine and I now have a solid block of clear so seems they did set up. Now I just need to figure out what to do with a solid block of clear epoxy paint…
Here’s the deal, buy the 4 new clear kits $300 total. Home Depot wants $185 each kit!
