It has come to my attention that emails from possible buyers, I have replied to, are not being received. I have responded to all emails sent to me. This seems to be quite common on Craigslist. Their security system blocks emails for no reason, thinking they are a bot or spam. Please, use the dropdown menu under REPLY, and call me at the telephone number listed, if you have sent me an email, and are not getting a reply email from me. Thank you.

Besco Folding Trailer, MFD by Germaine & LeJour, S.A. France in June 1980. These trailers may have only been imported for a single year in 1980. The deck is still partially covered with green protective film. The last photo is the manufactures sales photo and shows it in a partially folded down configuration.

This mostly aluminum trailer is light weight and folds into a suitcase like configuration, and weighs about 70 LBS.
It is complete as shown in the photos, with the vinyl top and frame to support the top. The bag to store frame pieces and blue top is included. Everything seems to be in very good condition. GVWR 398 LBS, GAWR 312 LBS, tongue weight 70 LBS. The lights have not been tested, and the other half of the wiring harness connector for the pulling vehicle is missing.

I am selling this for my father in law, who now lives in Florida, has dementia, and no longer has the TITLE. I don't think it was ever licensed in the state of Maryland. The Maryland MVA looked up the VIN for me, and has no record of it. However, the VIN label has two characters that are almost obliterated, so what I gave the MVA may not be 100% correct. Also, it may have dropped out their system, since it's been 44 years.

You may purchase it as a valuable collectible, for display in your "Man Cave", auto, or motorcycle museum. Can be used offroad without a title or license, pulled behind a 4-wheeler, trail bike, or lawn tractor on private property.

If you own a BESCO trailer, buy it for the spare parts. The wheel assemblies, tongue, lights, or a replacement blue top and frame. I am sure spare parts have not been available for many years from the importer/manufacture.

It is being sold "as is" and "where is", with the understanding that it cannot be used legally on the roads in the state of Maryland, as purchased from me. Buyer must pick the item up. It will be left completely assembled. If the buyer wishes, I will disassemble it in their presence. No assembly instructions are available, but I assembled it, without too much trouble, on the first try.
