My name is Rick, and I'm looking for a very specific type of soccer ball, that was common back in the 1970s.

I'm looking to buy old synthetic, vinyl rubber composite soccer balls. Vinyl rubber is either polyvinyl or polyurethane. This composite looks nearly identical to vulcanized rubber, but it is not. Vinyl rubber is similar to latex rubber, and can be extremely pliable and soft. If this composite is breaking down, it will be very rigid and stiff.
Synthetic vinyl rubber soccer balls were often used in many youth and adult soccer leagues. They were widely used in Middle School, High School, Academy and College soccer games throughout the 1970s and into the 1980s.
These soccer balls look exactly like your average, old, worn out rubber soccer ball, which makes them very hard to spot. They can easily be misidentified as a vulcanized rubber soccer ball.
I'm particularly looking for "game balls", and will offer up to $400 for each one. The older the ball, and the more it was used, the more it can be worth. Soccer balls do not need to retain air for full value, as these are for collecting purposes only. If you are planning on throwing away old rubber soccer balls, contact me first, you might have what I’m looking for!!
Size 5 soccer balls only...
All old rubber soccer balls, with faded decals should be suspect, especially if they were game used in the 1970s or 1980s.
