3 original editions of the "Frederick Almanac", issued by Victor Remedies Co, Frederick City, Md. Years 1906 (32 pages), 1907 (32 pages), and 1908 (30 pages).
Each issue is complete, and bindings are secure. These were almanacs put out by a medical supply company, and so in addition to calendar, moon phases and cycles, etc., they contain information about various potions, etc. made by Victor Remedies Co.; e.g. Victor Liver Syrup, Victor Infants Relief, Consumption - Its Cure, The Hip Bath, The Foot Bath, etc. Each issue measures 7" X 9". Each issue has its peccadilloes; e.g. paper chips, aging, etc. But for paper almanacs issued nearly 120 years ago, darn it, I think they're nice. Each has its original hanging string. (Back in "the day", almanacs customarily had strings attached so that they could be hung in a convenient place for farm/household use.)
Being sold as a set -- not available separately.
Note: I also have other early almanacs available, if anyone's interested. Almost all are from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and most of these are issues of "Agricultural Almanac" published by John Baer's Sons, Inc. I have virtually every issue from 1889 - 1978, with duplicates of several years' issues. All are originals: None are copies.
