I am looking for a strong helper who can help me with various household needs over the next month or so. looking for someone who can do regular housework cleaning weekly, plus help re-organize the apartment with moving heavy boxes etc from room to room or down stairs to garage.
I am 60+ yrs and have trouble walking, lifting and moving things. would like to rearrange and redecorate my apartment over the next month or so. I have many totes and boxes that will probably need to be carried into my apartment bldg garage. and help with re-arranging furniture - I have spare bedroom that is packed that I would like to get back empty.
I previously had a housekeeper but they moved away, so like to make housekeeping part of this, at least during this project period. There is a lot of opportunity for this position to become longer term with shopping, cooking, and other services. The current project will have someone helping at least 1-2x per week and likely weekends also while we get the work finished.
I am estimating overall project probably valued at about $1000 worth of work over next 6 or so weeks and offering a pay rate of $20/hour as this offers lot of other opportunity for right person. This is really more of a part-time house helper and house manager type position, more than just some housekeeper plus position.
I also run a home based business and depending on person, could also be opportunity there to help especially if the person has good computer or sales/marketing skills in addition (but that is really separate). Person should have own car/transportation as may require trips to store, goodwill or other places. (also if you have some other cleaning or other service at 25-40/hr - please not right position)
