Old parlor guitar labeled as Buckeye Brand. Fresh neck reset, refret, added pin bridge with bone saddle and nut. Probably Chicago made by Harmony or Richter. All solid birch. Unique fingerboard decor. Previous to me had a side crack repair and rather sloppy brace gluing, but both seem solid. Plays great with low action! Mojo monster!

I pulled this off the Web:
Don't Stop the Carnival is a 1965 satirical comedy novel by Herman Wouk about a middle-aged New York press agent, Norman Paperman, who escapes to a Caribbean island to run a hotel, only to find paradise is filled with comical and disastrous problems, from water shortages to eccentric locals, forcing him to confront his mid-life crisis and the reality of island life before ultimately returning to New York. The book, inspired by Wouk's own time living in the Caribbean, was adapted into a Jimmy Buffett album and musical.
