It breaks my heart to do this, but I'm looking for the right forever home for my beautiful 17-year-old Blue & Gold Macaw, Barney.
Barney has been part of our family for about 8 years. He is a loving, intelligent bird who has formed a strong bond with us. He tends to favor females, but with patience and time he can bond with the right person.
About Barney:

❤️ Affectionate and enjoys attention
🗣️ Says "Hello," "Hi," "I love you" (sometimes whispers it), "Goodbye Barney," parts of the alphabet, and a few other words
🤭 He does know a few cuss words and will occasionally repeat things he heard in his previous home, including arguments
This is not an easy decision, so I will be very selective about where he goes. Barney deserves a stable, loving home with someone who understands large parrots and is committed to providing him with the care, attention, and lifelong home he deserves.
