I am selling my carefully curated herd of miniature cattle because our family is moving.
All of these cattle are so easy to work with and have been gentled. They will eat out of your hand but are respectful and not pushy. They are used to children, dogs, cats, chickens, and goats. Some have been halter broken and lead trained. They would make a wonderful starter herd for a homesteader. Raise them for milk, beef, or pets.
Miniature zebu are heat resistant, disease resistant, have subdermal twitch to ward off flies, and are excellent foragers. They do a better job of keeping the grass mowed and fence lines clear than our goats did. They are low-maintenance. They can live on minimal acreage and they are reported to have A2/A2. Their meat is higher yield and lower fat than British breeds.
