Position Summary:
The Pool Builder/Installer is responsible for constructing, installing, and finishing in-ground pools (vinyl, fiberglass, and gunite) and associated hardscape features. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team in outdoor environments.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret construction plans, layouts, and site specifications
• Perform excavation, grading, and formwork for pool installations
• Install plumbing, rebar, skimmers, lights, returns, and drains
• Set and level fiberglass and vinyl liner pools
• Assist with shotcrete/gunite
• Pour and finish concrete for pool decks and coping
• Maintain clean and safe job sites
• Collaborate with foremen, subcontractors, and crew to meet project deadlines
• Troubleshoot on-site construction issues
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in general outdoor construction or pool construction
• Knowledge of pool plumbing, structural framing, and concrete work
• Ability to operate construction equipment (e.g., skid steers, excavators) is a plus
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs. regularly
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• OSHA 10/30 certification not required but a plus
