Many students struggle with the seeming subjectivity of language sections on tests, but these sections simply require a methodical and creative approach. Through weekly or biweekly sessions and personalized homework, I will help you or your student translate difficult passages into your own words, analyze questions more efficiently, and understand grammatical and stylistic conventions intuitively.
I have extensive experience studying for the PSAT and SAT, earning +99th-percentile overall scores on both, with a perfect score of 800 on the SAT language component. Having worked with many students to break down difficult concepts, I prioritize being supportive, patient, and meeting everyone where they are. Currently, I'm a rising college junior studying philosophy and literature, and am a widely published writer. My schedule is flexible. Just contact me to get started!
