1983 Fender AVRI Stratocaster. It has the original “red bobbin” pickups which were only used for a short time. The neck is a 1988 Fender AVRI replacement neck. I purchased the guitar in 1990 from a dealer who replaced the original neck (it had a defect) with a Fender factory 1988 AVRI neck. The neck was shaped by Herbie Gastelum (a Fender legend) and has been re-fretted and given a 9 inch radius by Mike Dove (One of top guitar luthiers). The guitar has nicks and scratches throughout. The case is original to the guitar from the Fullerton era.
