Pay: $27–32/hr (1099, paid weekly), commensurate with experience
Start date: End of May / beginning of June
Primary location: Fort Detrick, MD (local work)
Travel: Possible 2–4 weeks of area travel in June/July — mileage reimbursement provided
What you'll be doing:
Interior and exterior painting (cut-in, rolling, spraying)
Punch-list handyman work: drywall patching, caulk, trim, minor carpentry, fixture swaps, doors/locks
Working independently and with small crews on a federal installation
What we need from you:
REAL ID-compliant driver's license OR valid U.S. passport (non-negotiable for base access)
Ability to pass a background check for DBIDS / base access
Multiple years of hands-on painting and handyman experience (not entry-level)
Own tools, ladders, brushes/rollers, and reliable transportation
Clean work, attention to detail
Available to travel for 2–4 weeks in June/July if needed
